Great! Review by vieille
I took One-a-day Women's before trying Opti-women vitamins, and while I was pleased with the One-a-days, I still wanted to see if I could find something better. I did. Optimum Nutrition's Opti-Women vitamins are wonderful.

They first captured my attention as a potential replacement because while researching, I recognized the company name. Optimum Nutrition makes some of the best and best-tasting protein powders out there. Their reputation is very good, and I hear their products recommended often. When I found out that ON makes vitamins, I knew I had to try them.

The vitamins are very easy to swallow, thanks to the capsule form. They just slide right on down, and I feel like they're absorbed better because of their form.

I've seen positive benefits from taking them, and I only take one a day (a half-dose). My nails grow even more quickly, and they no longer bend over, and I feel like I have more energy. I don't feel jittery though, and I haven't noticed any change in my heart rate as I would with caffeine, which is a plus. (I tried One-a-day Weight Loss vitamins before the OAD Women's, and I hated the way the caffeine made me feel.) I haven't noticed any changes (neither positive nor negative) in my mood or in my urine. I know that it probably sounds like the Opti-Womens do nothing, but in truth, the positive effects--though definitely there--are subtle.

The only downside is that if I burp a few hours after taking them, I get the 'flavor' of them in my mouth. (Which is basically how they smell.)

All in all, I really like these vitamins, and I know that when I run out, I'll be buying another bottle of Opti-Womens.

Well, after a brief break from these vitamins (monetary reasons) I'm back on them, and I'm definitely noticing a difference. When my bottle of Opti-Women ran out, I switched back to the One-A-Day. Meh. Then I switched to the Target brand generic of the One-A-Days. They were awful -- my nails immediately started breaking, and they just didn't seem to do anything.

Now I'm back on the Opti-Women vitamins, and compared to the crappy generic things I'd been taking, these are amazing. I *do* feel more energetic, even with a half-dose, and my nails and hair are great. (Except I now have to tweeze my eyebrows almost twice as often.) Oh, and for some reason, I'm now having discolored urine -- bright yellow, which I've heard is the B vitamins and nothing to worry about. I'm thinking that I probably had it before but just didn't notice it for whatever reason. In any case, I'm never buying another brand of vitamin again. (Posted on 5/3/2012)
Your classic dependable multi-vitamin Review by Marie Rossi
I love the fact that they are capsules as opposed to tablets, I have a terrible gag reflex and there are very few pills I can get down without having my daughter look at me like I'm crazy, this is one of those pills! The label clearly details the ingredients, nothing special but everything a relatively healthy middle age female requires in terms of vitamins and minerals. I've been trying to lose weight and when you don't have to proper balance of nutrients in your system, things can become quite difficult. The only other supplement I take, if you even call vitamines supplements, are the Raspberry Ketones Bulk Powder 50 Grams that Dr. Oz and spoke about on his show. For all the ladies losing weight out there, they've actually been working for me (i.e. appetite control and energy). If Optimum would consider adding some raspberry ketones into their vitamin (or really any natural appetite suppressant that actually works) I would buy them by the box! (Posted on 5/3/2012)
